Hello, I do like the innovative design of the S9P silicone strap with the pin closure. However, quite frequently, the pin comes loose, especially when putting a jacket on or off. And it seem, the more I use the strap, the more loosen the pin gets - not to the point that it really fails, but the one hole I’m always using doesn’t hold the pin nearly as much any more as all the others.

So, my idea is: How about adding a second pin in the next hole in the strap? But where or how could I get one to try this?

What about your experiences with the pin closure?

    Cheers

@Simon two pins would have the same problem, I had a similar strap couple of years ago. Maybe you could try hook and loop or velcro strap?

@DMytro Sure, switching the strap is always possible. Very nice that Suunto made the S9P compatible to standard 22 mm straps. I also thought about just removing the pin and adding 2 loops. But they’d have a different color.

A second pin would surely have the same issue, but possibly somewhat less 🙂

I would go for a loop, too… maybe you find a spare loop in a nice color that suits or that adds a colorful detail
