      Hello community,

I’ve bought 2 months ago the Suunto 9 Peak Pro which I really love, it never let me down with the recording of daily and training data.

Last thursday I went running 11k, my settings were performance mode with polar h10 strap (which always worked with my old S9B & S5).

      Issue 1:
After recording of the activity I’ve noticed that the gps training map wasn’t visible on the app (iOS) and neither on strava. I’ve checked distance and pace with my team and everything was correct. Link to activity: https://maps.suunto.com/move/hansleopoldhelm/645d358c3698c57c42f87af4

      Issue 2:
Since thursday I’ve noticed also that the hr data everytime I sync it with the app won’t show up as a detail, and in the home page the resting hr widget is empty. In the screenshot you can see that the hr detail accordion doesn’t appear at all.

Yesterday I’ve done the following step:

      1. Soft reset and nothing changed
      2. Factory reset and the problem is still there

The hr and gps I’m that they’ve worked because it’s been 2 months of heavy usage. I didn’t noticed any slow downs as I’ve read in other posts.

Did someone else experienced a similar problem/ experience like mine? In case there’s a way to fix the problem?

I hope that it’s a software bug and that a firmware can address the issues.

Thank you and have great adventures!

@HansLeo for 1) could have you disabled GPS in the activity settings? Maybe you were changing something else and tapped on screen. For 2) try to log out of the app, clean cache, and login again. Or even deinstall and reinstall the app.

@HansLeo For iOS you cannot empty a cache. If force quitting the app does not work, delete and reinstall the app.

@isazi I’ve used perfomance settings, and in general I always double-check the settings before starting an activity. But in this specific case maybe I witched the gps off. Thanks for the support!

@Brad_Olwin the first thing that I’ve done after the soft reset was to delete the app and reinstall it. Till now after the factory reset everything works fine, I’m missing hr, calories, etc… data from last friday and saturday when I’ve noticed the malfunctioning on the device

@zhang965 I will for sure, back when I had the s9b I’ve had a similar issue and my watch was send to suunto where they noticed a hardware issue with hr sensor and gps unit. Thanks for suggestions!
