However, if you do remove the compass widget (by unchecking it in the widget settings in the Suunto App), you still have access to it by scrolling to the bottom of the widget list on the watch and selecting “All apps.” The only difference is that it will no longer auto-calibrate once removed from that main widget list, so you’ll need to double-check the calibration status before starting an activity.

@The_77 Moreover, the field on custom screen show distance to end of the route, not to next POI / Waypoint as set in field configuration.

@Redpillar Long time I do not repair/pair my watch but you do all the proces and then you have to enter/confirm the code that apears in the watch not a generic code.

@Tamás-Tompa Happening to my still several times in the past few weeks. Support have advised to follow the soft reset process - I have suggested a firmware update is necessary in order to resolve fully. FW version : 2.50.28

@duffman19 So I tried first with a short stretching activity. Delete from SA, log out of SA, login again, resync and it showed the activity again. However. doing so with my long run, seems to not resync although it’s still on the watch (at least showing on the watch. I noticed. Daily HR, steps, resources are all in SA including the activity time. But GPS and activity stats are not. Would be great to ad Fit/json manualy Back into SA. That’s possible? Is it possible json and fit files are deleted if you uninstal SA?? Would be an explanation I can’t find them on my phone anymore.

@Elipsus No problem. Soft and factory reset did not fix the issue. I will charge the watch up to 100%.

To add to this one, I have the lovely death of HR experience today. But somewhat perturbed that this is the end firmware for the watch and this happens. Resources is also stuck at 70%, despite being at 10% before the night. So I suspect a reboot or something is involved?

During last 6 months my S9PP stopped HR moritoring / sleep tracking, so this is somehow related to last sw update as noticed already. Earlier this happened only once a month and always in the middle of the month, 17th-19th of the month. Now in August this was getting worst, 2 times in the beginning of the month and now again on last night (14.8)

@paul28 I recently started using the suunto+ stryd app on my race s and was puzzled why I sometimes see groundcontacttime and other metrics beside power and sometimes only power. Now I know. I also have the problem that my heartrate sensor looses connection with my watch and doesn’t reconnect. That’s going on for over half a year and no solution in sight. There might be a next firmware update which might arrive in august but that will not contain a fix. And a firmware after that? I really doubt it. I will report this to suunto support to keep the pressure on.

@duffman19 I have just got a Suunto 9 Peak Pro and confused by the contrary mode, I’ve just suggested to Support they have a simple light/dark mode option which would work for everyone. I did a downgrade to original firmware as a test and did like the old colour options on light background a lot
