Is there an update coming this fall?

Hey, all
So, before I toss out there what’s on my mind, I just want to say that I am very pleased with the Suunto Vertical overall. Suunto seems to focus on the metrics that I personally care for, so the ones I’m “missing” from, from brands such as Garmin, aren’t really a problem. I’m also a fan of the very pleasurable UI within the app, as well as the gorgeous hardware. Lastly, I personally love the MIP panel they went with on the vertical. I find myself actually using and interacting with the maps, which I rarely did on my Garmin devices.
For context, I I’m citing Garmin because I previously used Garmin’s forerunner line, the higher end, as well as Fenix. My 965 and Fenix 7 are actually being regifted to family / friends as we speak!
So, I’ll get right to it, I hear there is a big update in the works, possibly for this fall? I’m just curious if there is any validity to this.
I’m mainly just curious what is slated to be improved on.
I attempted to see if there was a Beta program, but Suunto doesn’t make it easy to find this information lol.

@Andrewx01 suunto doesn’t release the update schedule - so nobody’s going to officially confirm an update. The rumours circulating in the forum are partially hinted on by people in the know. In the past (almost) all turned out to be true, so make of this what you will.
There’s a beta program for suunto app, but not for the software - well, last update was te first one to feature a beta release. Perhaps more to come.

@DMytro Thank you! Never hurts to ask! I noticed Suunto appears to keep things pretty lock and key.
I did have someone tell me that they had first hand knowledge… but signed a NDA. So, I didn’t want to probe, but was left pretty excited.

We are ALL eager to see what goodies await us just around the corner. -
Those that might know are under NDA, those that don’t know can speak freely.
You won’t find the answer to “when” on this forum.

Just got information that a new release shall be there within 2 weeks, from the Suunto Assistance.
No information on what it shall resolve.
