music playing with bluetooth

The new Suunto Race can only control the music from a smartphone and not play music from its memory with bluetooth, I don’t understand the plan to release bluetooth headphone and at the same time a watch that can’t play to the headphones, but is there a future scheduled update that will bring this feature or the bluetooth chip don’t support it, or there is some explanation around patents and licensing cost ? Just paying MP3 or even OGG without streaming service would be convince me to buy the watch otherwise I don’t think so.
