@Santana-Hakuba-Kikstra I contacted support, I presented the problem, also for the SV users. The lady, Sofie, immediately passed it on to the right team. She is going to send me an answer by email. I wonder if I’ll ever hear anything. 🤔 But so as already is said, VO2max is only for walks and runs.

@Eddy-De-Backer so bad 🤔 suunto Bring a new watch and is unable to FIX DAMN some knowing Problems… Same Like the new Vertical Firmware, 6 month of waiting on an update and 1!!! new watchface… No baro graph on solar version etc…

The absence of baro graph on the Solar version is not a bug it is by design. You may ask for this to change but that is how the watch face is designed. If you need a watch with more watch faces perhaps Garmin, Apple or Coros would be a better choice for you.

Do activities that use GPS signals continuously for 20 minutes or more and the HR value must be at 70% of MaxHR. It is recommended to use the Running basic activity mode.
#This is what Suunto Thailand recommended to do, Let’s see if this is work for you.

Hi all. First of all. The vo2max tag in the activities has nothing to do with actual vo2max measurements. It means you did a good effort depending on your zones.

Second only run activities produce vo2max.

Third you need a couple of activities to get and estimate.

@BrunoH I think I meet all the conditions, but Vo2max and fitness age do not appear on the watch or in the app. Wait and see if anything changes after the promised update, otherwise back to the SV where this data will appear for me (I will miss the amoled screen of the SR)Screenshot_20231124_150501_Photos.jpg Screenshot_20231124_144622_Suunto.jpg Screenshot_20231124_145006_Suunto.jpg Screenshot_20231124_145717_Suunto.jpg

@Santana-Hakuba-Kikstra my Garmin forerunner 955 gives me almost 53,5 and Suunto Race 51,5, curiously give me the same age 20 😂 and I have 45. Every company have they’re algorithms and I think in 8 runs they don’t have all the data they need. I have same definitions in Suunto and Garmin, HR threshold, maximum HR, height and weight, the HR zones are the same and I always use chest strap so in my perspective they have different algorithms, but which is right? Depends from what you want to believe 😁 enjoy the watch, this is just numbers which means nothing,I see people with higher vo² than mine, youngers and and run slower than me

It’s definitely interesting, my Garmin running Vo2 max is 51 , since I don’t run much but ride 15000 km per year on the bike I have 65 Vo2 max for cycling (I’m 54😂) according to Garmin but unfortunately the Suunto watch doesn’t calculate for cycling.

@Santana-Hakuba-Kikstra I think it’s mostly because Suunto always was a brand with focus mainly on running and hiking, specially on mountains. Its not a tri watch like Garmin or Polar,so cycling is not their focus. They have other sport profiles but with no specificity. I think with the vertical and the Race they are trying to comeback to market in terms of being competitive with Polar and Coros. To be honest I switch to Suunto because of 2 reasons. First,is beautiful, second the simplicity of the watch. Have everything I need, without an endless amount of features and metrics with no usase in real life. Garmin have great features, years ahead of the competition,is true, but I spend 750 euros on Fênix 7 solar and 550 euros in the 955 and don’t use 10% of their capabilities. After 5 years with Garmin decided to try something simple and I’m loving it. Have some bugs, for sure, but I’m loving the Race 😁

@tiago completely agree, it’s a great watch and im sure some firmware updates will make it even better. Good price, great quality.
