Thank you for that. But… I go to Edit Profile and there is no mention of signature anywhere? What am I missing (or I am a bigger technoweeny than I thought!!)?

Click on your user photo up in the top right
Click on Edit Profile
Scroll to the bottom - Signature is the last box above where you save your changes

Interesting - when I logged on just now, magically two extra boxes are there under Editing my profile - They definitely were not there before! Perhaps I have to have a post or two before they let me have them?

I had the same problem and think it is as you write: I‘m pretty sure I had to write a couple of posts before the „signature“ showed up. It would be good if it were greyed out in the beginning with a note that one needs x posts or y reputation, whatever it is. I searched and searched and …

This might be it! Because I am a new user since a few days ago and I don’t have the signature box anywhere under edit. It might pop up once you pass from to the next tier from ‘new user’ status

Some spam bots create users and edit their bio, add links, etc. to avoid having to post and be flagged as spam. Because we have few filters active on the forum now to avoid this, it may be that you cannot modify the profile until you have an approved post. Us mods try to approve all legit (as in non spam) messages from new users as soon as possible.
