Just my personal feeling and opinion :
1- I can only answer in English or French
2- When i see an french question, i answer in English
3- If i see a post in a language i don’t understand, i skip it 😞
Understood and respect that some people don’t speak english, no problem, but either they use any translators like said, or they ask in their language, and then, they will miss potentially many users potential help ( and for sure, at the end, we will all miss the potential super issue and answer).(imagine the magnetic gloves issue in exotic language 🙂 )
i can’t imagine any specific modo or superuser for each language to answer each question and decide whether it is worth translating or not.
Vicious circle ? Maybe create effectively specific key language area. At minima, we may enable some lazy (don’t use translator)/non english speaking people to request help here. If they get no answer or less answer, better than nothing.
At maxima, someone in this language will translate or decide it is worth switching to english.
Yes, same for me. I open the menu, select Unread to review all new messages and skip those that start with Android. Not a big deal, but a bit more comfortable if they were separated in a more permanent way.
I’ve noticed this on my Spartan too, but since I’m not a “gun-started” guy 😁 I’ve never tought about possible implication on measurement.
But screen loading doesn’t take 2 sec as on @Richard-Francis S9
This is absent or hardly noticeable on “non gps” activity like weightlifting
@skdenes The votes count, the suggestions AFAIK are relayed to Suunto with the popularity (votes). I have found in the past that Suunto takes suggestions seriously but may not implement them as you expect. An example: Many users with Ambits wanted and asked for offline syncing with the phone app as once the watch memory was filled, you could overwrite existing tracks (for example on a long backpack trip or expedition). This was implemented by introducing a completely different phone app and watch (S9baro). So the request was filled but not how users expected. I have seen this with multiple requests, in this case it likely was not possible to provide this with the Movescount app and perhaps not possible with the A3P, but I expect the plans were in place not long after those requests were made.
I think most requests that users want have been made in the forum, that is why we moderators refer back to the old posts and eliminate duplicates. New requests are left standing. Dimitrios was handling those tags I believe and I don’t know if that has changed as he now is working on Android development for Suunto.
