I like the widgets on my Suunto Vertical. But during training I can’t use them. Is that possible?
When I was hiking today I wanted to check my steps per day - no access.
No way to see steps per day, no compass, no solar energy view.

Is there a way to use widgets during training?

@MichlWe. You can’t use widgets during an exercice.
If you need to see battery level : you can pause your activity or hold bottom button, you’ll have the information (but honestly battery life of the SV is so huge that I’ve never needed that anymore).
To access compass during an exercice, just go to option menu/navigation/compass (I Also don’t use it anymore since there is the north indication on the map screen).

        Suunto’s devices at home :
        Vertical titanium solar
        Suunto Race S
        S9pp titanium sand
        Suunto Wing
        S9B titanium Ambassador edition, A3P, X6

Battery is available in pause and compass is accessible from the navigation screen, just scroll down.

Hold bottom right button also can see battery level. Not necessary to pause it to view.

@babychai Thanks, should have remembered that……the Vertical and Race last long enough I never look at battery levels. Then I am surprised when I get the 20% notification, realizing I have not charged in awhile.

Thanks all. For compass and battery there is a way.

But the problem is unsolved. Can I use the widgets during training?

I wish Weather forecast widget would display also upcoming rain, sun and not only temps and wind. Any idea what that is not included in that screen. Would be more useful than showing temperatures imo.

@krakra maybe you are referring to the S+ weather app, and yes, that information is there, there is a little icon that shows the current waether condition if I’m not mistaken
