One month ban didn’t calm Zhang965.
We didn’t ban him afaik or did I miss something.
I am fine with @zhang965 being here. He has helped in the past.
I understand that he is a revolutionary mind / act and I dont mind as long as there is no offense to other members

@babychai I for one, do not get this. Time is the one resource I can never get more of so it seems silly to squander it.
If I’m upset with a product or service, I cut my losses and do not buy it again. Really that simple. Coming at a company or community over and over again makes you petty.
The forums have been useful for me to navigate issues, sanity check things I’ve seen during software/hardware changes and (being honest) drool over the places and adventures our members do. It’s been courteous in debates and hardly toxic like 4Chan. Let’s keep it that way!

@Egika thanks, mate!
I’d say the trolling is still systematic, though less personal.

After all, I’d rather be slow than being a fast moron.

Aside from blocking individual accounts, I do get the feeling that more and more posts on this forum are shifting from asking and helping to blaming and demanding.
Hopefully there will be more positivity this year…

@surfboomerang same feeling.

same as well, and I am personnaly using the user blocking feature of the forum to hide some of my own “trolls” : I don’t want to read them anymore (for my personal soul peace ) No one knows, no one banned, i just don’t see
-
@Mff73 I did the same - blocked certain ‘contributors’ who seem to thrive on negativity, or doing multiple posts just to be argumentative, and it’s made reading posts and advice here much more enjoyable.
I would really appreciate though if some of the more childish egos who seem required to have temper tantums about their Suunto experience or forum members responses just moved on (once and done is fine but jeez). I honestly don’t get it.
My number one go to thread now is photos of the day - to see photos of Suunto users from around the world is very inspiring. Never a negative post there.

Because you have to do something to post a pic … mostly

Challenge accepted (just kidding)

That’s a good idea about blocking people, I might do the same. Lately I’ve been feeling less like logging in daily due to the same people continually posting their demands or negativity - exactly the opposite of what this forum has always been
As for Zhang, I personally don’t mind him/her/they. Their comments are as predictable as a fart after dinner but it never seems to be anything overly personal (apart from poor @Brad_Olwin)

The block feature is a really nice way to simply not see a lot of negative posts that seem to be quite prevalent at the moment. I have only used it once so far, but am considering a second implementation.
It gets very tiring to read posts from users that seem to simply want to bang-on about why they dislike a product that (it seems) they should simply walk away from.
