I’ve got a bunch of maps stored on my Vertical (travel a lot), and they all need to be updated. However, I’m not sure I’ve got the time to wait for all of them to be updated. So, is it ok to interrupt the download process by removing the watch from the charger? Is the download and unpacking of the maps sufficiently robust that I don’t have to worry about missing or corrupted maps when I’m on my trip?

You should be okay. I had to interrupt the re-downloading of the updates to my half a dozen maps, I probably paused and restarted one of them maybe 3 or 4 times and it’s fine. I had the same concerns as you do but I haven’t encountered any issues since they’ve been updated 👍

@DrSilverthorn interrupted downloads several times in some cases intentionally and in others unintentionally.
Haven’t encountered any problems, maps continued to download normally when connected to charger.

Been with a Suunto on my wrist since Ambit2

Would love a Vertical with amoled display.
