    Trying to get some bugs fixed after an update happened but I was unable to resolve anything. Does anyone know how to get ahold of anyone from Suunto to initiate a return? Their website says “satisfied or your money back” and I have had nothing but issues with my new Vertical Solar. Been trying for weeks to get a hold of anyone from Suunto and even their online chat bot can’t give me answers. None of my data is tracked at all. No sleep, HRV, blood o2, heart rate, etc… All workouts completed are way off, be it a treadmill session or something tracked outdoor. The watch won’t even pick up my heart rate to set up my first workout. All it does is counts my steps and tells time. Attempted to contact on Instagram and Facebook with no luck.

        Something appears not set up correctly. I am the poster from Reddit.
        A couple of questions.
        What firmware is the watch running and what phone OS?
        Sleep tracking needs to be set up in the watch. Have you enabled sleep tracking, enabled HRV, enabled O2 and 24/7 HR. For all this to work 24/7 HR must be enabled in the watch. You will want your max and resting HR set as well. If you know your HR zones, I would set those in the watch, the automatic population is not great IMHO (220-age I believe).
        If you really have had enough go ahead and return but either you have faulty firmware or the watch is not set up completely.

          First things first, I really appreciate you reaching out on reddit!

          The hardware on my watch I am using is 2.30.38 and my iOS is 17.2.1. I have tried everything enabled and disabled. I have soft reset the watch, hard reset the watch, adjusted my sleep times, heart rate zones, position on wrist, etc. I’ve gone through what seems to be every option on the watch and gave each attempt more than enough time to see if it corrected anything. I really do enjoy this watch more than my Garmin Forerunner 945 I had for five years, but it unfortunately is unusable for anything that I wanted it for.

          For the first four weeks of owning this watch, I was impressed w the sleep tracking. It was spot on and much better than Garmin. I hadn’t been doing any triathlon training so I hadn’t done much w it in that aspect. Was very impressed w the battery life. I was having a friend check it out when the update happened, convincing him to buy one also. After that update in November, I can’t seem to get this watch to do anything I want. Still can’t even set up my “first” workout since the hard reset because it can’t detect my heart beat.

          For what it’s worth, this was one of Suunto’s refurbished models that was discounted online.

              @throwaway12345 I would contact support in the app by chat. Sounds like a faulty watch. They will likely replace it.
