Sofwtare update won't download to new Suunto Vertical

I recently purchased a Suunto Vertical, and out of the box it was running software version 2.25.64. The Suunto app shows that version 2.30.38 is available to download, but when I attempt to click “Download update,” nothing actually happens. Similarly, if I attempt to initiate a software update on the watch itself, it tells me my watch is up to date.
I’ve tried to reset the watch a couple of times (both a soft reset and a full reset). I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the Suunto app on my phone. However, I am still unable to initiate the software update.
Any thoughts as to what else I can try here?
