S+ ultra walking

there’s a problem with text formatting that goes beyond left/right edges
-
@robis Is that on iOS?
-
@Raimo-Järvi yep!
-
Thank you for reporting this, it should be fixed now

To piggyback off of this, I feel there are two things to look at.
Firstly, whatever threshold it calbrates at for walk/run is not right for me. A lot of time I’ll tick over in a little steppy action that’s more than a walk but gradient calls demands it isn’t a run, and it looked like this was getting counter as walk. Would love to hear others feedback
Secondly, can we develop some sort of extra chart integration for this. It depends if the measured sections are merely added up or counter against the clock. What I mean is if it is possible, would be good to see the altitude profile post activity coloured with the sections: Blue for walk, green for run, red for stop etc.
Just a thought but would be insightful.

Because discerning between running and walking is difficult outside a lab (if you have both feet in the air at some point, you are running, otherwise you are walking) this is just an estimate that provides roughly the amount of time that you walk or run.

That would be very nice! The app would need to be modified to store the state at any given moment, and then visualization should be added in Suunto App. Possible I guess.

Makes complete sense, just something I’d noticed more than anything.

Yeah would make a bit more useful to look at after an activity than just, here are some numbers. Appreciate it may not be that simple of course.

I used for the 1st time s+ ultra walking.
I have two screens time/distance while activity. When I viewed my data in SA, I only see time data and not distance. Is it a bug? I launched 2 s+ for this activity. -
@Wilson75 it is not a bug, if you have a Vertical in the S+ apps section of the App you can select if you want to save time or distance. It is not possible to have both.

I didn’t notice this specific setting. Thanks
