Anyone Actually Complete a Triathlon w/Sunnto Race?

I cant seem to find out any information on how a open water triathlon works with the Sunnto Race. Do you just press start and the watch automatically switches to transition, bike, transition, and then run? Do you have to press the lap button for each transition or activity? Why cant we create our own custom triathlon activity? Thanks. any input helps. I don’t want to figure it out during a race.

@derekbaker Yes, I have used multiple Suunto watches for triathlons.
Including the Race.
What you do during the race is:
After exiting the water, long press the top button and the watch will show T1.
Once on the bike short press the top button (it has the label “NEXT” during T1).

Same when entering T2 (long upper button) and when starting the run (short upper button).

You can do a dry test at home to see how this works.

I have no idea, why triathlon data fields cannot be customised. Many people have been asking for this since Spartan Ultra… If you have a power pod connected to the watch you can select the triathlon mode with power. Otherwise the triathlon race mode.
