e-MTB usage drugs the fitness scores?

Hi all, I’m new to using Suunto vertical.
Started training with an e-mtb and I tracked as mountain biking (no better option I guess?).I wonder if my training data is only based on heart rate, or the algorithm also takes into account the distance, pace and height gain? Clearly, if everything is considered and I’m using an eBike, the app must think that I’m incredibly fit … The consequence is that all my scores are drugged, and any other training becomes irrelevant for my level of fitness. Am I wrong?
I looked for information about e-mtb tracking on the forum but didn’t find an update.
Any hint would help, I really need to track my trainings for a race in two months - exact reason why I bought a Suunto vertical.
