    One of the most useful apps on my other smart watches, is Google Wallet contactless payment.
    Not sure if the Ocean has the hardware to support it, but if it does, it would be the best firmware enhancement Suunto could do.
    Do we know if it is supported and/or planned?

        In past I wanted NFC watch with payments, but I cured myself of it :P. I got my phone always with me anyway. Yeah its 2024 and It should be “normal” in this price watch probably.

          @Jamdog2477 : You could try to manually attach something like this: https://vimpay.de/vimpaygo/ . If only there would be a (Suunto) Strap with a matching pocket…

            It´s no very cheap and it´s from another company, but this strap would be kind a solution:

              @enriqueescoms unfortunately Fidesmo does not seem to support many banks

                  and that would be a problem with a Suunto dedicated payment system.
                  Unless you can store your Credit Card information on a third party NFC chip, this is probably not going to happen…
                  Blessed is China where the watch just needs to display your Wechat Pay QR Code to pay…

                    @Tami999 i am coming to the same conclusion. Quite rare for me not to have my phone with me, just have to dig it out of my pocket.

                      The Polar strap is compatible with Suunto 9 Baro?

                        @PABLO-G mechanically - no. It is 22mm
                        It does fit the newer Suunto’s well though.

                        Just be aware, that it is Fidesmo payment. At least for my country this is barely usable as almost no bank is supported.

                          I think it´s compatible although it doesn´t fit perfectly. Polar strap is 22mm width, Suunto 9 Baro is 24mm width.
