dont tides need an online up to date data source? Afaik then they are not reliable.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos yeah, same like weather.
So it could be similar like in the weather widget and the weather forecast S+
But widget content would be more useful I think -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Yes and no! Indeed, you do need a data source, and it has to be related to where you are (GPS location?), and the source is different country by country, so not so easy to implement. Furthermore, some countries governments provide this data for free, whilst some (including the UK) don’t.
In addition, tide timetables are a forecast, not a guarantee. The tide can be dramatically affected by several meters (up or down) by meteorlogical conditions. Even the national tidal authority in the UK can only give 48 hour ‘approximate’ estimates for what the actual tide level will be in any location during that timespan.
However, a simple ‘Tidal Clock’ is something that you set at a high tide time, at either a new or full moon, and it will tell you ‘approximately’ when the next high and low tides are (though not their heights) for weeks afterwards, perhaps just needing an update once per month.
Tides are very interesting to me as I live in a house which gets flooded when we have a meteorlogical surge on top of a astrological high tide! I’m getting quite good at predicting when we might have a flood risk!
Still… I would love to have tide times on the watch!

I agree this would be a helpful feature. Garmin also has this feature for up to 7 days as a reference. https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/8ef5a2ac-f87a-4001-bf47-439543ca4eea

Hi, I’ve been a Garmin user for 7 years and just recently switched to Suunto, really enjoying the change by the way. I live on the coast of Brazil and use tide information a lot. Of course, it is not an essential function to have on the watch but it is something that I see as easy to implement and that I would love to have on the watch again (as I had on the Garmin).
As @Swaddy61 suggested, a simple “Tidal Clock” would do the work for me as I only need to know when the tide is high and when is low.
Hopeful to see at least a “Tidal Clock” in upcoming software updates from Suunto.

Tide info is like weather info.
If you can have one you can have the other. -
Any news on this?
