    Hello,
    I just bought my first Suunto, I am used to Garmin. Last night I turned off my watch for the night, and when I woke up the time wasn’t updated on the watch until I synced with the app. As a result, yesterday’s step & calories were added to today’s total on the watch… On the app, it’s all messed up, with yesterday’s active calories added to today too. Is it all because I turned off the watch for the night ? Garmin didn’t have that problem, the time kept updating even with the watch turned off.

      @DianeB yes, the watch is just not made to be turned off, or in better words, it really turns off, not just partially off like other watches.

        @isazi This makes sense, that’s why the power off feature is so complicated to find too I guess 😉

          @DianeB not sure if it’ll ever change, I guess it’s no priority

            @DianeB,

            Suunto should solve this aspect to improve user experience. We can’t predict when turning off will be needed and the reasons, specially for a multi-sport watch that covers “radical sports”, at least for me.

            It should be add an automatic counter (timer) triggered when we turn on the watch, then after syncing, based in the current time minus the counter it is possible to know the exact time the watch was turned on.
