I’ve just purchased a Vertical Solar, my decision based around design and use in the mountains.

Only disappointment is the lack of a a good windsurfing/kiting/winging app and the ability to record in nm and knots.

As a newbie to the community is there a pathway open to develop S+ Sports Apps yet? If yes can somebody point me in the right direction.

      Thanks in advance 🙂

@NZLmatt I am using my Suunto watches regularly for kite surfing.
You can design your own sport mode for this with the data you like.
Nautical miles and knots are available as data fields already (and I think they are the default for kite boarding anyway).

@Egika Now that you talk about it, a user on reddit also mentionned the issue about selecting units in the Suunto app

@Elipsus you don’t exactly select units. You choose either “distance” / “speed” or “nautical distance” / “nautical speed”

@Egika thanks. I’m using a custom display setting now but the watch is missing max nautical speed … seems like an oversight as max speed only records kmh when there should be an option for kn
