    During a safety stop on a recent deep dive, the Suunto Ocean displayed a strange value on the left-hand side of the screen.

    Instead of showing a number of minutes/seconds remaining in the stop, it switched to just show ‘000000’ – the numbers extended off the left hand side of the screen. I was unable to view how much time was remaining in the safety stop because of this. The rest of the display (depth, total time) was as expected.

    I managed to capture a blurry shot with my action cam (it’s not good at close ups) which shows the display.

    I couldn’t see any mention of this in the documentation; it’s very concerning to see a buggy display during critical times like safety stops. If this happened during a mandatory deco stop it would be extremely dangerous.

    Anybody else experience this? I do not know how to report bugs to Suunto in a way that receives any kind of acknowledgement or response.

        @garethm,

        Report it to the community is very important to alert us about this problem, but you should also report it to suunto costumer support.

          @diogao13 I have tried reporting all issues I’ve come across with the Suunto Ocean directly to Suunto, but I have never received any acknowledgement or response. Live Chat agents tell me to go to my local dive shop for repair. Submitting feedback via the Suunto app results in no acknowledgement or follow up, and sometimes errors. Chatting via Facebook leads to generic boiler plate responses after days of waiting.

          I’d love advice on how to actually reach Suunto, it’s been impossible in my experience to date.

            @garethm I joined Suunto with the chat and it was helpful. When the guy can’t reply someone else sent me an email a few days later.
