During a run this afternoon my Race S unexpectedly restarted. The activity details were saved and it didn’t take long to reboot so I just kept running and started another activity to track the rest of my effort but I wondered if there was anything I needed to do to provide crash diagnostics to Suunto or whether it would have happened automatically on the next sync.

For reference, it’s the first time in over 150 activities it’s restarted and I had a structured workout and the ZoneSense apps running but no navigation (a setup I’ve used loads of times). The watch was paired to a bluetooth HR strap and a second gen Stryd (again, my standard setup). The restart was 1 hour and 8 mins into an outdoor running activity on a route I often take.

@far-blue normally I could ask you to provide logs and open a bug report with Suunto, but a new firmware is coming soon (with few more fixes other than OHR and wifi), so I would tell you to wait. If it happens with the new firmware, we can try to report it.
