Structured workouts manual start
-
Hi,
I would like to start a Structured Workout guide manually, after some time the exercise is started. I am doing a warmup, then at some point I want to start interval training on the spot. But it looks like if the guide is loaded then it’s starting right when I start the exercise.
Is it even possible to start the workout manually later through the exercise? (I know I can add a warmup step in the structured workout setup but I’d rather not because I don’t have a pre-planned distance or time for the warmup).
Thank you!

Not that it entirely solves your issue, but you can set the warm up to end on lap button press, with no pre-determined distance, which is an option.
Else you can open the options menu mid activity, scroll down to S+ apps, find the one you want, check it on and you’re good to go.

Not optimum but will work I guess, thank you.

Why don’t you just set the warm up to lap button press? Just as @The_77 suggested! This is an optimum simple solution.

@Brad_Olwin Because I dont know how long warm up will take.

@sorinus that’s precisely what « press button » for next step is meant for , as mentioned above.
You don’t know how long your warm up will take ; so do I most of time.
Warmup is part of structured workout.
I press lap button when my warmup is over and then It starts next steps of my session.
I also often use this between two workouts « blocks » when I’m trail running for instance and that I need to reach a particular area (first block in a slope, 2nd block in another one) but don’t know how long exactly it could take

@Tieutieu Many thanks, exactly what I need then (I missunderstood it when I read the manual).
