My Vertical Titanium Solar is a mistake

@Liutauras-Elkimavicius first post and all you come with is anger.
I don’t know how you set up your watch and how you chose it, but reading reviews first or specs would have certainly led you to another choice.
Most of your complains are non-sens regarding large majority of users experience with SV.
Sorry for your experience with your watch. You should return it or sell it aftermarket. -

Thats the Problem in this suunto Forum. If someone say Something what isnt in the meaning from admin Users than all here IS non-sense. Its his Feeling. Whatever - he should say his bad Feeling Here Like everyone Else. And shouldnt critisized here like this way!!!
Help him Not critisized him! -
@Brad_Olwin good answer

@GiPFELKiND but coming with even not a « hello » doesn’t help. Maybe my post was a bit « hard », but I can’t advice anything else here but returning the watch.
(I’m not admin by the way neither Suunto related or tester. And I try to help as much as I can)
Again : considering the complains and the way they are expressed, my best advice is to send the watch back. -
Often the behaviour here in the forum is not to find arguments to optimise things for an existing problem or expectation, but to answer that other brands especially Garmin have problems too.
That’s annoying for me, because there always is the possibility to make things better.

Isn’t it the current normality nowadays?
-
@GiPFELKiND Starting a message with “my Vertical is a mistake” is bound to trigger a defensive reaction from those who are satisfied with their watch. While the device may have some issues, it’s clear that the main challenge often lies between the shoes and the watch.
-
@pilleus It all depends on how the initial message is framed. Often, people summarize their opinion with “Garmin is much better, blah blah blah,” which naturally triggers the kind of responses you don’t appreciate. However, from what I’ve seen, deeper discussions on key issues are also taking place.

If your watch doesn’t synchronise in the background with the app, then maybe there is an issue with the permissions for SA on your Android phone.

If there’s his experience and opinion I can read it and accept it. My experience may be completely different. If I argue in all the points in a different way, his experience will not change. So it’s not needed to do so.
There are a lot of watches out there with different pros and cons.
It’s not my intention to compare Suunto with other brands. I use three Suunto watches despite the existing bugs and problems. These watches work for me and sometimes I use other brands for sleep tracking or the possibility to change sensors within an activity.
-
@GiPFELKiND I’m just a regular user and not an administrator and this opinion is my personal opinion and is in no way related to Suunto. I myself had quite a few problems with all my watches, but I used the Suunto forum for help and looked for the opinion of other users. Suunto of course has room for improvement, but you have to realize that what doesn’t suit you doesn’t mean it’s bad or miserable. There is no perfect watch, there are only those that are optimal for us personally.

I think there are different “levels”
Acceptance: of another’s opinions (or deeds) is the basic level, the foundation of communication. I can accept people who can have very different opinions and let them be with their opinions. And sometimes that’s all one can do.
Discussing: when it comes to “discussing” opinions and interpretations there can be conflict and in the end this leads at best to a higher level of insight for all involved.I think most of users here can accept the anger, if something does not work. But saying, that the Vertical does have a bad GPS is a actually a quite quick discussion topic: either the OP’s device is defective or he must doing something severely wrong.
