Map level of details when zoomed out

Are there any plans to increase level of details when a map is zoomed out?
At 0.5 mile (800m) zoom level, trails and forest roads become so thin that I can barely see them. At 1 mile zoom level, all trails and forest roads completely disappear. This makes it very hard to overview the area and pick a path when not using navigation. Basically at 1 mile zoom level the map becomes unusable for my needs.
So basically the only zoom levels that work well for me (meaning I can actually see trails) are 0.1 and 0.2 mile. But that covers a really tiny area that I run through in just a few minutes. It would be really helpful to bump entering by at least one zoom level.
Furthermore, it would be really helpful to see mountain peaks on the map even without their names
