7 to Race transition.

I have had my 7 for a little over 3 years and despite its bad press I like it, I wouldn’t buy it again as I prefer the Suunto ecosystem to the Google Wear OS but that’s a different story.
It suffered from screen burn within the first two years and was fixed under warranty, now a little over a year later the burn is returning and getting worse quickly. It is poor that a watch which cost me circa £250 (?) a little over 3 years ago is now coming to the end of its natural life. Some people may be happy with that but I am not. I have never used the Always On Display or anything other than a Suunto watch face which I regularly rotated.
Nevertheless I understand it was a bad product for Suunto and will happily buy from them again, most likely a Race.
Can anyone offer any reassurance that the screen burn issue has now been resolved and I’m not going to be in this situation again in a further 3 years? I have read the posts on pixel shifting etc, but it was also possible to enable this on the 7. I like the Amoled display and don’t need the Vertical’s battery life but would happily have one unless I can be reassured that there is no risk of a repeat experience!
I found a similar post (https://forum.suunto.com/topic/9623/amoled-burn-in-on-race/25) from 2023 but was wondering now the watch has been out that much longer if anyone had anymore updated thoughts?
Many thanks

@quattrojames just a data point I observed the other day: the Vertical Week watch face in AOD mode shifts pixel every minute to prevent burn-in. I didn’t look that closely on the other watch faces, but I guess it is the same…

I’ve just taken delivery of a Race with a custom Canyon Orange strap, so hopefully the lack of negative responses into this thread are proof that I’ve done the right thing!
