Watchfaces Drop 2025 Q1
-
@misu763 Ok, it seems I need to update.
-
@larrybbaker I don’t think it would be a problem, because:
- There’s an icon with a sun and an arrow accompanying the data field
- 4 h 27 min. is not much different from 4h 27m
While 4:27 is indeed debatable, 4h 27m indicates a countdown of sorts.
Besides, other complications tend to fit into two lines (icon + data) and here we have three lines (icon + data + min.). I believe it’s not necessary to have “min.” in separate line and “m” should fit next to digits.

@pavel-samokha Do we know when the other three watch faces will be available? There was another analog one I was interested in trying out. (I saw an image with six new faces, but can’t recall where it was…)
-
@duffman19 there will be two more watchfaces released a bit later.
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel
you mean the ones here

If i am right there are 4 complications for one analog (on the middle) and 1 complication for the other (on the right), to come

@Antoine @Rayfox That’s it! Somehow I missed it scrolling back through the thread. I guess it’s 5 new ones, not 6 (bad memory).
I think that’s a screen grab from Joaquin’s video. I went back to find it, but it’s not there anymore. Wonder if it was cut out?
Anyway, really looking forward to the other 2 analog options. I really like the look of the far right one: simple with minute tick marks and maybe new color options? Not sure what the 24 markings around the outside would be for. Usually there’d be a fourth hand for a second time zone, if that’s what it is.

@pavel-samokha ok, so. There was this update today…
My favorite watch face, Modern Analog, is now gone from the watch.
It is apparently installed, but does not show in the Customize section on the watch anymore - neither does the button “make this watchface the active one” in the App appear.
I tried everything: removing ALL watch faces and re-installing. Syncing. Restarting the Race.
There are several watch faces that I can install in the App, but are never offered on the device even though they appear as installed.
Did you just roll out a new bug again?!?
-
@pavel-samokha something is definitely broken with the latest update and watch faces.
The App behaves weird, I cannot install some watch faces and whenever I do anything in the App, the selected active watchface of the Race is lost and it falls back to its default digital watch face. So sad to see problems with firmware updates so often.
I want my Modern Analog watchface back working.
This is what a “working” watch face looks like in the App. It is installed and I can make it the active watchface using the blue big button.
This is what Modern Analog looks like (and many others): you can “install” them but you cannot select them - not here and not on the Race itself. It’s not on the list of watch faces…
What should we do??
-
@Olaf-Gottschalk it could be the watchface number limit. Try to go to your installed watchfaces list. Uninstall some you don’t need. Sync app and watch.
-
@pavel-samokha I have opposite issue. I have the watchface Modern analog installed in watch, but it is missing in both app and store.
-
Two more watchfaces are published

Nope. No watch faces anymore. As I said, so have already deleted ALL watch faces.
Just now have gone through resetting the device to its defaults and went through onboarding again with exactly the same result.
It is impossible for me to get this watch face active.
Nothing installed. Fresh watch. Went to the store, wanted this face. Now it’s looking as if installed, but nothing on the watch itself, there is just a bright yellow screen telling me to go to the store to download watch faces.
No blue button to activate that watch face either.
What else to do?

@Olaf-Gottschalk record a Suunto App screen video:
- Go to your watchfaces library and shows that there are watchfaces there
- Then in SA go to your main watch settings screen, click sync and wait till sync process finish

Done everything you described.
Here’s the SA screen showing the faces:
But this is my watch:
And here the “list” after the yellow note:
I did of course sync many, many, many times today.
Thanks to the reset I already lost every setting, connected device, etc.
I am kind of extremely annoyed right now. -

And here, also for you a video showing it love:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/9tBHhCBWpd4XRj1Y9It is impossible to select the “installed” faces and on the watch it still claims that none are installed.

@pavel-samokha logs are also sent to support. DM me for my account email.
-
@pavel-samokha not-so-fun-fact: none of the new watch faces work.
-
@pavel-samokha very nice. “Forest Ranger” looks awesome.
Just the Always on display could show a little more details. -
@Olaf-Gottschalk try two things:
Disable and enable BT on the watch and also on the phone.
Then sync again. If this does not help, uninstall and reinstall the app.
