Adding a waypoint during an activity

Hello to the Suunto Community!
Happy owner of a Suunto Vertical, I’d like to find out how to add a waypoint from the watch DURING an activity (NOT from the phone) when I see something that I want to spot on the map later.
Is there an easy way to do that?

Indeed, you’re right. “POI (Point of Interest)” seems the right terminology for what I want to do.
