Treadmill: where's the calibration?
-
 Hi, I just finished my first use of this watch on a treadmill but there seems to be no way to calibrate the watch at the end of the session, really? The distance measurement is way off.
 I really hope this is a missing feature that will be introduced with future updates, because during the week I spend most of my free time on a treadmill.Thanks

 @6iovanni Not sure how it is for the Run, but for Race S you can select the distance in the post-activity summary and change it with a button press.
 Does this work with the Run?

 @6iovanni right. This function is supposed to be delivered with the first FW update after release.
 Probably in 4-6 weeks, I guess
-
 @Egika thanks a bunch!
-
 @Egika Is there a published FW roadmap? I’d like to see if there’s anything in the pipeline for improving the lap notification vibration - it’s pretty weak.
-
 @Anthony-Garratt no, Suunto does not publish this.
-
 @Egika Okay, thanks. How are you aware that “This function is supposed to be delivered with the first FW update after release” ? Just interested to know if there’s a feed/thread or something where that info’s leaking out.
-
 @Anthony-Garratt some forum users are Suunto field testers and have some more in depth knowledge. We are under NDA though - so I was maybe stretching this a bit when giving the information about power meters…
-
 @Egika Power what?
-
 @VoiGAS in a different thread

 @Egika just wanted to prevent not knowing because of the NDA thing - the reason for the

 Hi, I entered the correct data directly into the app, after the race

 Hi @Andrea-Petrucci I entered the correct data directly into the app, after the race I meant that as soon as you end the activity, in the summary on the watch, you should be able to change (calibrate) the distance. Take a look at this, last post. That said, I was told that it should be coming somewhere in the future.
-
 @6iovanni Yes, I understood. That’s why I was telling you that at the moment, it seems to me, that the only way is the one I told you.

 I’m on 3.19.183.19.20 and I calibrate it at the end of the session. It’s the5thnth time I calibrate it and it keeps counting 1 km more every 4 or so… Same treadmill, same speed, same incline for every session.

I’ll report my personal experience: if I run up to 7.5/8 km/h there is always a significant difference compared to the treadmill, beyond these speeds (9 km/h and above) the differences are practically nil.
