I’ve been mentioning the behaviour on a different post but might be better to create a new topic.

After some map issues and a suggestion to soft-reset the watch I came accross extensive battery drain. On the first case, right after rebooting, the watched consumed 40+% in 1.5hour (no recording activity or anything else). It went from 61%->20% in 1.5 hour so and it stabilized there. I’ve let/caused (torch on) the battery to drop down to 4% and then made a full charge in case it was a battery calibration issue. It seemed fine afterwards.

Yesterday, after getting the update the watch made a restart. Same behaviour appeared. It went from 93% to 45% in an hour or so and after 6-7 hours it went down to 6%. I then charged it and since then it seems fine. Normal battery usage both when recording activity and not.

After the last reboot, I noticed that the watch was warmer than normal. Like something was going on inside. Any ideas?

@Panagiotis-Kritikakos Sorry, about your problems. Did you try factory settings? If this doesn’t help, I’d contact the support.

@Highlands I had tried a factory reset but it re-occured. After a full charge everything seems fine until the next soft-reset.

@Panagiotis-Kritikakos I m afraid you may need to send it to the service Center

@thanasis I am afraid so too. Will have to wait some time and will give it some more chances, perhaps with another factory reset.

I applied the last update. The watch restarted and the same issue occured. This time, I tried to change to power saving mode.I let it there for ~10 minutes, no battery drop at all. I enabled normal mode again and the consumption seems to be back to normal again. At least there seems to be a workaround.
