daily sampled HR 24/7
-
Hi,

I cannot explain the reason for all these weird spikes (yep, I wear the watch correctly). At noon or so I even touched 110bpm while sitting in the office (I’ve compared with the chest strap to check and it was barely 75bpm). It probably has something to do with the way the daily HR is sampled in the Suunto Run (every 10 minutes?) and maybe it needs some tweaking. I remember on my 9 Peak was way better.
Thanks!

Hi,
I also keep seeing these non-existent spikes in the daily heart rate graphs. For example in the attached photo, at that moment I was woken up by dogs barking and went outside to check. My Holtler night monitor did not show that absurd value but only 65bpm.

I am more than satisfied with Run’s performance, but unfortunately when it comes to sampling during sleep (and day), we are not quite there yet. I simply don’t trust it anymore (HRV…). e.g. Last night, my Holter monitor, a medical device, recorded values between 46 and 54 bpm, so I can’t explain the 67 bpm and all the other peaks. Furthermore, the minimum value recorded of 48 bpm is terribly wrong. I already reported this issue in June, but unfortunately, I never received any feedback, not even here…

I am returning to this issue because it bothers me greatly. I keep monitored my sleep with a Holter because I am trying to investigate a problem that has been occurring for a couple of years (PVCs). There have been several fw updates, I have sent several logs, but I keep seeing graphs that are completely at odds with reality, even during the day. If it’s not too much to ask, I would like to understand if this is just my own issue, considering that the post has not received any replies, or if it is a widespread oddity that no one cares about. Either way, thank you anyway. Don’t get me wrong, you know I love this watch!
