@Danny-poleg charged my watch on Sunday to 100%, it is right now showing 86% with all enable, 1:10 of outdoor activity, 1:00 of indoor activity. So, nothing changed much for me.

I have been recording every day when I wake up for the last two Charge cycles what % battery I have first thing in the morning. I have just charged watch from 0-100 yesterday and now recording daily loss. I have never changed any settings on my watch since new. I used to go through 2-3% battery a day. Now it is between 7-12% I will continue to record every morning this current charge cycle after doing the 0-100 and see how it goes. The only thing I have left to try after this is hard reset.

My Vertical behaves as always, around 1% per day when not exercizing, with notifications off and hr off.

Yes myself and others have noticed around 10% a day it seems sometimes more. I have tried everything expect a hard reset .

            This is normal.

I’ve noticed increased drain on Race. I charged it on Saturday evening and now it is on 23%. I had about 10h of activity with it. One hour indoor without gps, and everything else is with gps, mostly trail runs and 3h climbing session. For trail runs I have race nutrition and zonesense S+ active. About 16% per day. All on, except AOD and SPO2 sensor. I have a feeling that battery lasted more with previous FW

I waited to update the vertical as soon as I read about the battery drain, I only updated the race S (without problems)

Also think 2 to 3 percent is normal without actives on Vertical. I have noticed no difference since update with battery drain. I find GPS about 2% per hour.

For me 10% a day would require a 3 or 4 hours of GPS!

@safari Hello I just read your summary my vertical has the same behavior just a question about the automatic adjustment of the altitude is an option that must be started or is it automatic? Thanks

                          @ggrego Hello,
Since altitude is barometric, I use “automatic altitude change” before starting each exercise. It does this via GPS.
This way, it provides more accurate altitude information. At least it’s consistent with the “altimeter” app I use on my phone.

bu arada “FusedAlti” de çok işe yarıyor👍

                          from the document:

                          Altimeter

Suunto Vertical uses barometric pressure to measure altitude. To get accurate readings, you need to define an altitude reference point. This can be your current elevation if you know the exact value. Alternatively, you can use FusedAlti (see FusedAlti) to set your reference point automatically.

Set your reference point from the settings under Alti & baro.

This morning I charged my SV, almost at the end of charging the watch said that the maps were loaded (but I did not load the maps), reset the notifications, seemed to have reconnected the charger and charged the watch to 100%. After 10 hours of inactivity (daily HR, notifications, gesture backlight on) the battery charge was 95%. This was definitely not the case with the previous software. After a full charge, I did not reboot the watch. There is clearly something wrong with the battery discharge. Another note, I have a feeling that the increased discharge is only without activity, during activity the discharge is 2-3% per hour (it was like that before).

I charged SVT one day before the update, I believe software release was on Friday, 22.08. Now I have 13 % of battery. Since then I did around 16 hours of GPS activities: walking and cycling with and without chest strap. I have enabled sleep and hrv tracking, notifications and blood oxygen are off. I find battery duration for my needs perfect.

Here is the issue I see with multiple HR sensors every single time I want to switch from one sensor to another.

                                  1. I start a run. It doesn’t show HR sensor connected because I wear another one - not the one I used previous time in the same activity type

                                  2. I go to the Exercise Options --> Sensor Data and select the sensor I want to use, select Connect. The sensor gets connected.

                                  3. However when I exit the Exercise Options menu I see on the top of the activity start screen is that it has already locked to the optical HR sensor and doesn’t actually use the sensor.

It sometimes takes me several attempts of exiting the activity and restarting to make it actually use the sensor I want.

The reason I have two sensors is that one of them is chest HR sensor for shorter runs and another is Coros armband HR sensor for longer runs. The latter is far more comfortable, especially when running with a pack.

@sky-runner today I went on a run with my wife. We both have Suunto watches, we both have Coros HRMs, we both had issues to get them to work. I had for example had it paired, it didn’t connect. I tried multiple things, selecting it in the activity menu as source, nothing. I had to delete/unpair the second HR monitor I had paired with the watch and only then I was somehow able to get it to work. I spend like 15 minutes before my run fiddling with it and was super annoyed. My wife lost patience and has left it in the car… This was a test of my patience today. I am fed up, really.

I wanted to emphasize that the problem is not with the Coros HRM. I was using only Coros HRM for months before with zero issues. I didn’t bother switching HRMs before because it was too annoying to unpair and pair sensor, but now with this “improvement” it doesn’t really work either. The only improvement, really, is that I can see the Coros HRM battery level.

@sky-runner @Miroslava yes it’s independent of the brand and type itself. It’s a general issue.
