Activity starts automatically when swimming

Hi,

During the last days I was at the beach. Several times when I went into the water the Run watch started automatically an activity recording when it got wet. It doesn’t do the same while I am under the shower.
Is there a way to prevent this?

@SimonDe you’d need to enable do not disturb, that’s the only option right now, sounds like as watch is not locked, it can be activated by water and do unwanted actions.

before entering the water or the shower with the watch set “raise to wake = on”, better lock the screen.
You can assign one of the buttons long press to do this, then it is very quick.

Unless I’m missing something, there’s still no way to achieve this (I mean lock the screen)

Yes. you are right. Button lock is missing…
