Dive counter in suunto app
-
Is there a mechanism or trick to keep track of the number of dives you’ve completed?
It’s not important in other sports, but in diving, keeping track of the number of dives you’ve completed is useful. So far, I’ve register a manual counter in the activity description, but it seems very rudimentary.
thanks

What about using the app Training Zone Statistic page and filter by Activity Type?
Example for Trail Running -
@Mff73 Most of the divers will have dives before using the Suunto app. So a counter starting from lets say dive number 89 would be interesting. Works like this in the Mares / SSI app

If you tap on the Activity widget in the app it shows you a summary of each activity but you can’t see “all time”, the max you can do is over 1 year.
In the Ocean itself the “Dive Stats” widget shows you total dives along with some other stats.
But as @VoiGAS said, most people have dives before getting the Ocean (or any Suunto watch) so I still keep a separate log book (SSI app).

Take Care if you use the dive Statistic App on the Watch. If you swim to Deep oder snorkel and don’t set the Watch on the correct Mode, it will Auto start the Dive Mode and the ocean will count a „dive“ Even you have been under water less than a Minuten. You cant delet this counts and soon this number is incorrect anyway.
