No headphones control in Suunto App
-
@Adamhert Mine started working on their own.
Maybe try adding the headphones through the system first, and then in SuuntoApp. -
@maszop Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don’t completely understand what you mean by connecting through the system first. I thought there was only one way to connect it. I have now disconnected it and reconnected it, but nothing has changed, and unfortunately the same image appears as in the picture above. Could you help me understand what you mean? How can it be connected differently? Thank you.
-
@Alexander Danilenko Does it work for you? Because it still doesn’t work for me, and it’s really frustrating that I haven’t been able to use the features for months… It would be great if someone finally explained what the issue is and whether it’s actually going to be fixed.
-
@Adamhert I meant the Bluetooth settings in Android. There, first pair the headphones without using SuuntoApp.
-
@maszop This is how I did it before as well, and I believe this is the default way to pair it — I don’t think it even works differently. So you’re supposed to start by connecting via Bluetooth, and then through the app. I’d consider this to be an app issue — I don’t really understand why this would affect accessibility within the app, or why it would suddenly make the features appear. I can still use it to listen to music, but the features still don’t show up in the app.

@Adamhert reconnecting headphones doesn’t work for me.
I contacted Suunto support about this. We figured out that it is maybe a problem with Android 15 or Samsung smartphone (mine is S25 Ultra wirh Android 15).
When I connected to my old LG G7 (Android 10), headphones settings were available. Same with Ipad.
-
@Александр-Даниленко I have Android 15 and it works. Initially, it didn’t work.
After several disconnection/connection attempts, it suddenly started working. -
@maszop It hasn’t worked for me since, the entire Wing interface is unusable, the options within it don’t even open when I click on it, and I’ve already turned it off and re-synced it many times. It’s frustrating and annoying that they haven’t been able to solve this problem with an application update since then. Especially since I’ve written about it countless times in the feedback.

@Adamhert Why do you need headphone support? You have new shiny widgets
To this day, I don’t understand the point of the new SuuntoApp version. The user map has been removed, headphone compatibility issues, stats are different than in the watch, broken view and editing of routes and so on.
And the bugs remain unfixed (media controls, Strava laps export, and many more).
There’s no mention of new, long-awaited features like cutting/merging/grouping activities, tag management, some kind of map download automation, integration of imported activities, and the list goes on. -
@maszop What kind of widgets? I cannot see any widgets…
-
I mean there’s no widgets for Wing.
-
@Adamhert That was some sarcasm about Suunto’s priorities
