Sleep tracking issues

@Tieutieu it’s enabled and it measured heart rate all night long. But not sleep and HRV

@gogapo have you tried to set auto dnd mode to same hours than sleep tracking ?
My settings (race S) : 7 hours sleep target time. Sleep time set from 11pm to 7 am, same for auto dnd.
Never had a failure with sleep tracking.

@Tieutieu I have both set to the same time. Before I did the hard reset, I never had such a gap — it’s the first time. The problem was that almost everything was counted as light sleep. Let’s see what happens in the next few da

@gogapo ok. Can’t advise more, hope it will work well again.
-
@Tieutieu but thank you for all your help

@gogapo any changes?
My race 2 gives me 2-3 hours of deepsleep, which is not true! Worst ive ever had. Ive measured it with both polar v3 and helio bad which estimates around 1-1.15h evry night.

Sleep tracking without reading brain activity is every time just guess based on your HR and movement. For me after multiple nights i can say that Race 2 are really optimistic, as soon as i don’t move it counts it as sleep. And i don’t have any equipment to validate if REM, Deep sleep/Light sleep are correct. It is more “fun” feature than proper scientific measurement. I think best what we can take from sleep is night HR, and HRV readings.

@Tomas5 My watch didn’t record HRV on most nights, unfortunately. Just twice
-
@gogapo it works for me every night
-
@Tomas5 yes i know, but every other watches have given me around 1-1.20 h deep sleep (including AWU which is around 80% correct compared to medical grade dquipment). When suunto then give me 2-3h deepsleep it keep showing recovery around 90% all the time, even when i sleep 4-5h.
I dont care if its not 100% but a ball park would be great as they keep providing guidance based on sleep score o
