Display Lock Bug

Hi everyone! I just got my Vertical 2 and everyting works fine so far with one exeption:
If i lock the screen ( i set the lower right button as a shortcut) and the watch is locked for some time it won‘t unlock anymore. The lower right button does not work to unlock the watch. The only thing i can do is a soft reset. After that the watch works fine again. But it‘s the same problem next time again.
Maybe somebody can try if there is the same problem with his vertical 2? I think it must be a software issue…

@maxwag90 This is an identified issue and shipping for my country (USA) is not until Oct 15. I believe that the forced firmware update that should occur when watches are received will fix this. Not aware that watches are already shipped. Sorry, this was identified in pre-release firmware by testers.

Thanks for the answer! In europe the watches are already being shipped. So i will have to wait for an software update…

@maxwag90 here i didnt have any issue with locking and offlocking the watch.

Soft reset is since super long time = long press (more than 12s) the upper button. -
@Mff73 4 or 5 hours, still no problem here …software 2.46.12

@maxwag90 Have the same problem. But when you charge your watch you can try to use the unlock button and it will work without doing a reset.

Hello,
I‘ve noticed the bug in my Race 2 too!Daily soft resets and also on hard reset haven‘t changed anything.
What‘s strange is that the error didn‘t appear for the first seven or eight weeks. Only after switching the watch sync from iPad to iPhone (due to possible media control during training) has it become constantly present.
What can I do besides performing a soft reset several times a day, which is really annoying?

@maxwag90 This just happened to me tonight, 5 minutes before a race started
Was the first time I used the lock function because my screen kept moving due my jacket touching the watch face.
Had to soft reset, and got the watch ready to race in the nick of time. Do not need that happening again!
Seems to be working now though…?

Hello,
I’ve had the Vertical 2 for 4 days now.
The first thing I set up was the screen lock.
But after a few minutes or hours, it becomes impossible to unlock it — a reboot is required.
Version 2.46.12I emailed support on Saturday and I’m waiting for a reply.

Problem solved with update 2.48.16
Does anyone know if it’s possible to set up an automatic lock after 30 seconds or 1 minute?
