data fields that are exclusive to Suunto Run
-
Can you help me publish a list of data fields that are exclusive to Suunto Run? I can’t find it anywhere, and I’m really interested in features like NGP per lap, for example.
NGP, TSS… what else is there?
And by the way, has anyone tried running trail with Smart Ghost Pace based on NGP? Is it worth it?

The Ghost Runner feature is only available in the running profile, where you can choose between a steady or smart pace. The latter takes into account the slope (unfortunately, I haven’t used it yet).

 @Hari-Seldon is there a lap NGP?Thanks
-
@Bento-Galado-0 Sorry, yep, average & max NGP lap, automatic and manual
-
@Hari-Seldon manual lap fields exclusive for the Run the moment. They can co-exist with auto lap.
-
@herlas Great to know manual and auto lap can coexist. What if you have also sent a workout from your phone to the Suunto Run? Do those function as manual laps or something different? I recall seeing interval lap somewhere, is that what it would be?
-
@neilme well, that’s a bit different, with Suunto Run, if you create a structured/interval workout, there’s no possibility right now to edit those screens, meaning Suunto Run when you’re executing a created workout, it comes with some defined data screens we cannot edit.
-
@herlas SAme as every other watch. But recently while watching a video of the suunto run, the creator showed some footage of customizing the data fields. Some of those fields were terms like: interval pace, interval distance. My question, are those the same as how other watches have lap pace and lap distance?
-
@neilme I wasn’t referring to customizing the default structured workout screen, that’s not possible in any Suunto as you said, but I was saying that only on Suunto Run you cannot add your own screens to the structured workout.
On all other Suunto watches, while you cannot customize the Suunto Guide screen, you can add your own screens along side, this isn’t the case for Suunto Run.
Interval pace, interval distance on Suunto Run are useless right now, you won’t see them during a structured workout because on Suunto Run as I said before, you cannot add your own screens, so you’re left with a few screens Suunto makes available during structure workouts and that’s it.
