        Apple tide widget. Really high level. They know how to set the basis for competitors.

          Suunto Ocean users deserve a tide app at this level or higher

              @claudiotereso hard to believe tides and tidal information has been in the request box for over a year and I would hope they actually get it into the fall update. I’m about to move from a Garmin to an Vertical and would love to have this extra bit of information for paddle, surf, and swim.

                We just need a tide clock like the old casio’s, in that way you don’t need connection via app or internet, set high and low tide, the watch calculate for it self

                  @spykez,

                  The Ocean is probably Suunto’s lowest-selling watch, which means it will be the last in line for any priorities or updates.

                    @diogao13 source on that claim?

                    Also, if they need any help developing (for free even), open up an interface for add-ons or such (similar to the free features from the suuntoplus store) and I’ll happily see what I can do. I’m familiar with embedded systems programming (/ C) if that helps, no idea what the ocean’s main software looks like though. I’m not sure what the holdback of essentially any feature is to this computer. Its not like it is a few updates every once in a while. Its literally one proper update per quarter.

                      @Flops you are aware that here and there there are bugs in SW releases and that here and there some watches reboot, crash, etc. It happens. I am not sure if you want this happen to an Ocean… in an ocean. That could be a disaster. Hence I understand the holdback.

                        It is really something that I miss too. And it would be helpful to have.
