Whatsapp notifications missing

@kevin look at the WhatsApp notification settings within iOS. They have to be enabled to go into the message centre, not just lock screen or toasts…

A friend of mine has the same problem (she’s on iOS and wears Race S). We have tried everything, but whatsapp notification are still not shown on the watch (all other notification works fine).
I’m not familiar with iOS, does anyone know what can I suggest her?

@SergioB if it doesn’t work, you have not tried everything…
As I said, messages have to go to the message centre - the middle of the three options within settings->whatsapp->notifications… -

@SergioB and other app notifications do work? That’s odd, as on iOS there is no app specific source of notifications…

@SergioB are there notifications of Suunto App appearing in the iPhone’s message centre?

@2b2bff yes, for example if a complete a workout and share the activity, she get the notification both on the iPhone and on the watch

Update: we solved it!
In Whatsapp notifications setting > lock screen appearance, the “show preview” should NOT be set to “never”. This fixes the issue!(We thought to have tried also this initially, but we were wrong)
