@Benjamin-0 Hi Benjamin. Im in the uk, which i think is only a 1 year battery warranty. My issue is that the watch has failed and is not fit for purpose. If suunto don’t respond then i’m considering taking them to court under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
They have already offered my a 30% reduction on a replacement watch, but why should spend hundreds of pounds to get the same watch thats failed me!?

@Geoffwilli have you tried a hard reset in case you for some reason have ended up in a situation where the watch can’t enter power saving states?
I know it is no fun to do a hard reset but maybe worth trying instead of throwing the watch in the bin.

@Geoffwilli I can understand since I’ve had the same issue twice, probably there is a design issue on the battery. I don’t know if I will have battery drain again but now this is repaired and with the new HR algorithm (previous was failling measurement all the time during activites on me) I’m quite happy with my watch.

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen Hi, yes i’ve tried all of the practical suggestions to help ‘regain’ the battery how it was. Nothin has worked unfortunately. This is the first time i’ve had an issue with a suunto watch, previously had a suunto trainer, and then suunto 9 Baro. I’m awaiting to hear back from suunto to see if they can fix the watch, as you say you don’t want to just put it in the bin!

It happened again: My Race S completely stopped tracking anything some time after setting DND mode until I switched off DND again. Same thing like I wrote a couple of weeks ago here.
No HR, no Resources, no Sleep… I didn’t do anything different than on the days it worked… -
@2b2bff known reported issue on Suunto race S, reported and ack’ed by Suunto, it’s a regression on latest firmware.

@herlas I wonder if there will be another hotfix release or if we have to wait for Q1 2026…

And yes, today, nearly a year after it happened the last (and first) time, my watch just froze and restarted during a run…

@2b2bff sooo unfortunately I joined the club this sunday…
after around 2h of activity watch crashed and restarted
used not modified trail run mode with HR belt and 2 S+ apps (Safe and ZoneSense) -
@mich-heller I suspect the HR belt is causing the crashes. What model are you paired with?

@Bigb0zz Garmin HRM-DUAL since like forever… Can’t remember what I had for the first crash, but possibly the same.
23 activities this year, 200 last year. 1/3 with the HRM-DUAL and 2/3 with the Suunto Belt…
2 crashes in total - how likely can this be the HRM? -

2 crashes in total - how likely can this be the HRM?That’s quite a bit fewer crashes than I’ve experienced. It’s possible the belt isn’t the main issue for you.

I founded new bug in the watches related to structured workouts in swimming in the latest hotfix.
Today I swam this kind of training, using structured workout option in SuuntoPlus:
Here is what watches show me after training:
As you can see, interval distances are not related to what I actually swam. Those distances are not multiple to the pool length (25m).
However, during the training intervals were showing correctly (…400m 50m 50m 50m 50m…), but not after ending the training.
This bug only appears when I use structured workouts in swimming. Without structured workouts plan everything is showing normally.

Hi team,
I’m struggling to get the SV2 FW 2.50.28 to support 3 SuuntoPlus apps that was introduced in the 2.50.26.
I’ve recreated my custom sport modes, just in case, but still no luck.
I want to enable my scheduled training and 2 sensors via the apps (ex: Core BodyTemp & Stryd). When I enable the 3rd one, it always hangs or gives me an error message that I have reached the max SuuntoApps supported.
Is anyone else facing this issue?

Hi everyone,
I cannot find automatic transitions for triathlon. It is not proposed by the app when I try to create a new triathlon mode. Do I do something wrong?
App version 6.7.12

I dont know what happened, but last 2 nights watches detect my sleep as a nap only:
Also, not all the times, when I had a “nap” are correct on the watch - this happened before pretty often.
