I posted this on Facebook group and would like to duplicate the request here. I don’t understand why it has to be so easy to switch power modes just before starting an exercise. One accidental press on the top button and the power mode switches from performance to endurance, and it is difficult to notice because the only difference is the color. In several months I’ve been using S9 I did that multiple times including two times at a start of a race.
There were exactly zero times when I actually needed the endurance mode because the battery life is already plenty long in performance mode. To make it worse the power mode change is done by pressing the top button which is used to start activity in Ambit watches - that may be the reason I confuse buttons so often.
I suggest adding a menu with a list of power modes that gets displayed when pressing the top button. That way changing power modes would never be accidental.

I don’t have an S9, but an SSU, and if one Day this feature comes to me, I would like it to work like your proposal.
