Hello, this morning I woke up as the alarm of my Race ringed, but in a couple of seconds it stopped ringing before I was able to touch the watch to turn it off. I didn’t touch any physical buttons for sure, maybe I could have touched the screen with a part of my body. Don’t know if this is the case, but I think that the alarms should be dismissed by the physical buttons only, is safer.

@Stefano-M64 Absolutely, touch screen should be disabled on alarm screen and Snooze/Dismiss should be available only via physical buttons.
I don’t know if this is new behavior or not, but there are already reports of missed and overslept alarms on the forum due to this bug/feature.

I had the exact same behavior this morning!

I think I experienced this this morning. I was out of bed already. When I reached for my watch it just stopped. Maybe I touched the screen, but I feel like I only touched the bezel on the no-buttons-side.

I just reproduced it. I might have touched the screen. Would be nice if it’s buttons only indeed. I would like to snooze 🙂

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Yes, by touching the screen on ‘snooze’ or ‘dimiss’ you can enable this function 🙂

Again this morning, the alarm was somehow postponed at first (not by me) and then I was able to dismiss it after 10 minutes. I believe this behavior depends on where the wrist is placed during sleep when the alarm starts.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos This has been as issue for a while now (first documented with software 2.40.38). And it always comes up when someone oversleeps because the alarm goes off later than expected.

I’ve actually seen the alarm touchscreen react to simply touching the bed sheets, so it doesn’t even necessarily have to be skin contact that dismisses or snoozes an alarm.
