Activity failing to sync - again

I posted about this a few weeks ago and the problem seemed to resolve but I’m experiencing it again more frequently. It particularly seems to happen with longer duration activities. The watch syncs to the app but at the end of the procedure a message comes up to say there was a problem with the last sync, one activity failed to sync.
Strangely my HR and calories (but not the ascent) from the activity appear on the relevant tiles on the dashboard but the activity itself doesn’t appear.
I’ve got the latest updates for watch and app and my phone is up to date with Android 14.
I’ve tried all the usual steps, forgetting and repairing on watch and in the app, soft reset, clearing the cache, resetting the Bluetooth, restarting the phone - no success.
Is it just me or does anyone else experience this? Last time it finally synced the activity after a couple of hours, this time it’s four hours and counting. Could it be a problem at the Suunto end? -
@MarkG I have no issues, I wonder if it is connected to permission on Android? You probably have already but might be worth checking everything is enabled.

@Audaxjoe Thanks. I don’t normally have notifications enabled but I’ve just tried with them on and no joy. Everything else seems to sync - routes, GPS optimisation etc and the watch is shown with a green dot as connected. I’ll try again in the morning - I just wonder if it’s some kind of server issue at Suunto - anyone know if activities go to their servers before appearing in the app?
