This is a bug report in accordance with the guidance given in isazi’s post

      Bug description

When doing a ride with the Bike Sensor connected the distance reported is by far incorrect (32km instead of 25.5km). In addition the cadence measurement only shows some samples with many dropouts in between.

      Unsuccessful Troubleshooting steps

      • Changed battery in the bike sensor
      • Readded the bike sensor in the watch
      • Checked that magnets are placed correctly (green and red LEDs come up on the sensor)
      • Checked circumference setting
      • When using a smartphone to connect via bluetooth to the Bike Sensor the connection remains stable => this in my opinion indicates an issue with the watch not the Bike Sensor

      Reproduction Procedure

      • On the watch go to Settings => Connectivity => Connected Devices
      • Select the Suunto Bike Sensor
      • The Bike sensor is shown in state connected / disconnected alternatingly (approx. every 10s)

@simspi I believe Bluetooth devices are a problem in general with Suunto. Today I was cycling with a race a and a Suunto chest strap and sensor. After an hour, the sensor just stops. At home, starting a new activity and the sensor connects immediately. So the sensor works. Can’t tell if the sensor is
Failing or the watch. Very stupid that these simple things can’t even work consistently.
