Strap/Band color suggestion for 90th Anniversary Edition

I’m looking for a strap that will suit the amazing orange ring on the watch.🧡
Don’t get me wrong I love the beautiful strap and band that came with the watch, it’s just that I think something more colorful would do the watch even more justice than the original straps.

@elbee I can see that is velcro closure but has anyone got a photo of how it works?

I’m wondering if it is easy to attach to handlebars on a bike.

That textile strap is low quality. I will not buy another one. The nylon strap that comes with the 90th Anniversary Edition Vertical 2 is much higher quality. Even a similar cheap Amazon nylon strap that I bought before for Race is a higher quality than the one from Suunto linked above. It is too flimsy for a heavier watch and stretches out quickly.

@peegee have a look at 22mm Coros straps. They make some very decent ones. I’d love something like the Killian Jornet edition in Suunto or something like this one but with a better colour match for my Vertical 2: https://es.coros.com/product/banda-de-22mm-silicona-coros-apex-4?variant=54784884867340

I did an experiment with a clone 24mm silicone strap and with 22mm pins and it seems to fit. It’s a very tight fit and I’m not sure how the strap is secured. I tried that to see if I can help with HR readings.
But I cannot recommend that strap. The thing is that there are like 23mm between the lugs.

Nomad’s brown nylon strap seems the best colour but it’s 24mm. In nylon is possible that 24mm fits but that strap has plastic endings and will not fit with 22mm pins.

The other one that almost matches in colour is this one:

It has some several details but it says Hyrox. If there’s a way to remove those letters or any reference to the brand… their straps are decent (despite their bugs and accuracy issues, but that is a different thing)

@dreamer_ Garmin Ultrafit 22mm strap should fit too and it is a high quality strap.

@sky-runner It’s been nearly two years now since I’ve started using those and never looked back.
I’ve tried wearing a nylon Coros strap for a while but definitely wasn’t my cup of tea.

I do not agree that Suunto’s textile strap is low quality. I use them (yeah I have them four) with the Suunto V1 without any issues. I think they work pretty well, for running and trails. Of course, there are better ones but is a product launched with the Suunto Run, so they must be light. I they were sturdier then we will complain because they are too heavy or stiff.

I agree, I have all of the colours except Lime and I am using them all the time, rotating between them. Best straps I’ve used.

There are two reasons why I wrote that:

The metal clasp at the end of the strap fell off within a few weeks. I was able to fix it back with pliers, but that felt cheap!
it came with 2 straps included - a short one and a long one. Well, the short one was too short and the long one was borderline too long. After a couple of months of wearing it, the strap lose a little bit of elasticity that it had and stretched out, so now it was way too long for my wrist. Also, because there no longer was any elastisticity, sometimes it felt uncomfortable on multi-hour trail runs. My wrists aren’t meaty.

In comparison, the 90th anniversary strap feels so much more comfortable. It is very similar to Garmin Ultrafit strap too that I used for several years in the past.
