2.53.42 Race S and Pathetic battery life
-
had auto-update turned off on my watch, but it somehow updated automatically, and since then the battery performance has been terrible.
The battery life has dropped significantly, and I’m now getting only 4–5 days of backup. The battery drains by around 15% or more every day, which is quite abnormal for my usage pattern.
Before the update, I would easily get around 8 days of battery life, including 5–6 workouts of about 2 hours each using GPS (without heart rate monitoring).
I’ve already turned off notifications and keep the watch in Airplane Mode most of the time, but neither seems to make any difference.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue after the update? Would a factory reset be worth trying?

@withManish I totally understand your frustration. And that the watch updates although you disabled it, is a no go. But in the end there is an easy work around until this is fixed. Just put it on a charger for some minutes, the watch charges quickly. It is not as it should be but works fine. I don’t think that a reset fixes it according to other users.
