No Pace field in Treadmill mode with NPE Runn footpod (Suunto Run)

Device: Suunto Run (latest available firmware)
Sensor: NPE Runn footpod, connected via Bluetooth
Sport mode: built-in “Treadmill”

Issue 1 – Missing Pace field:
When customizing the data fields for the Treadmill sport mode, there is no “Pace” option at all in the field list — only other metrics. I checked this both directly on the watch and in the sport mode editor in the Suunto app on my phone, same result in both places. Every other running-type sport mode (e.g. regular “Running”) does offer Pace as a field, so this seems specific to the Treadmill mode’s field catalog.

Issue 2 – Footpod data not coming through:
Even with the Runn footpod paired and connected, during a Treadmill activity only cadence is recorded. Distance stays at 0 for the whole session, and there’s no pace/speed at any point — even though the Runn broadcasts speed and distance (it’s used successfully with other watches/apps for this).

Current workaround:
I multiply the treadmill’s own speed display by a calibration factor to estimate real pace, and manually enter distance on the watch afterwards. Works for post-run analysis, but there’s no live pace feedback during the run.

Questions:

1. Is this a known limitation of Treadmill mode on the Suunto Run specifically (vs. Race/Vertical)?
2. Is there any way to get the footpod’s speed/distance data recognized by the watch in this mode?
3. If not, could this be logged as a feature request/bug — footpod support in Treadmill mode seems like a reasonable expectation given the sensor is explicitly supported for pairing?
