      Hi all,

Just got my Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 and running into two connection issues — wondering if anyone else has seen this yet, given how new the belt is.

      1. Pairing with the Suunto app (Android/OnePlus)
It took several attempts before the belt would successfully pair with the Suunto app on my phone. Not sure if I wasn’t holding the button long enough for the new pairing procedure, or if this is a broader Android issue.

      2. Connection drops with HRV4Training after ~30 seconds
Initial connection to HRV4Training (a third-party HRV app) is instant and works fine, but the connection consistently drops after about 30 seconds into a measurement. The Suunto app and watch are not connected at the same time when I test this.

Given that Belt 2 is supposed to support 3 simultaneous BLE connections, I’d expect a single third-party app to stay connected without issue — but that’s not what I’m seeing. I also saw a report here that the belt couldn’t connect to a Wahoo Roam 3 at all, which makes me wonder if third-party BLE HR profile compatibility is still a bit rough at launch.

Has anyone else tried pairing Belt 2 with a non-Suunto app (HRV4Training, Elite HRV, Kubios, etc.)? Any fixes, or is this a known early firmware limitation?

      Thanks!
