Constant bootloops when charged to 100%
-
As title says, my watch always gets stuck in bootloops or enter safe/service mode with errors if I charge my watch to 100% and left for a bit past it.
I end up losing data on my watch (HRV etc) and have to reinstall the current or previous SW version just in case I don’t run my watch with a corrupt firmware.
I also charge through a weaker power source like my laptop’s usb port rather than a high wattage charging brick.
It’s getting quite frustrating and I know never when the day comes when it will be completely bricked… Why is it happening?

Suunto doesn’t read the forum. Better contact suunto support directly via support@suunto.com

@elbee what do you mean Suunto does not read this forum ? I read this the time it was posted and I have not seen other reports of this (or at least remember).
I asked for guidance also on this so for now @bastienhere might have some hw issue from what I understand

I always get the reaction “This is not a official suunto forum but a user community”. Suunto support isn’t actively monitoring.
btw, did you see the chat message I sent you?
-
@Bastienhere is it the same regardless of you power source?
I charge my watch usually on the mac mini USB port. But on holiday I used an iPad charger once and a power bank other times. Some of those occasions my watch has gone bonkers.

@isazi fair enough. Next time I will be more specific that suunto support doesn’t monitor the forum.
-
@2b2bff it seems to be at least in my experience. I think it’s more likely to bootloop from a stronger power source.

@elbee yes I saw it but I am on vacation / so will take time to update for now till behind a proper pc
